Nepal it is where Mount Everest located, many tourist in Nepal are all climbers every year of its season many climbers go there to climb Mount Everest.

Radhanath Sikdar, an Indian mathematician and surveyor from Bengal, was the first to identify Everest as the world's highest peak in 1852, using trigonometric calculations based on measurements of "Peak XV" (as it was then known) made with theodolites from 240 km (150 miles) away in India. Measurement could not be made from closer due to a lack of access to Nepal. Peak XV was found to be exactly 29,000 feet (8,839 m) high, but was publicly declared to be 29,002 feet (8,840 m). The arbitrary addition of 2 feet (0.6 m) was to avoid the impression that an exact height of 29,000 feet was nothing more than a rounded estimate.

Here are some videos I want to share with you how hard it is to climb Mount Everest, and let you see how beautiful Mount Everest is..

Brought to you by mountaineering-adventures.blogspot.com

Mount Mckinley top 6 highest mountains in the world

Mount Mckinley top 6 highest mountains in the world, it is the highest peak in the North America, at a height of 20,320 feet (6,194 m). they called this mountain as Bolshaya Gora in Russians it means Big Mountain. It affords a full view of Iligan City by night or day, ideal for the adventurous type, climbers and mountaineers. January to March is where many mountaineers from different mountaineering clubs go to Mount Agad-Agad because it is the time that the weather is great and you will see the beautiful scenery that the mountain can offer. During the night you will see countless star and shooting stars at the top so relaxing with the cool breeze of wind that surrounds your body. With or without mountaineering experience can climb to Mount Agad-Agad, after few hours of sweat you can reach the top easily if you have the attitude of a mountaineer that so cold "never give up" and just do it!".

The first half of the trek is nothing but a walk on rolling terrain. The fun begins on the second half, when the knees meet the chin, as those "who've been there" would say. At the peak, the panoramic overlooking view of Iligan City and Mt. Malindang in Misamis Occidental right across Iligan Bay is a spectacle. But wait till evening when the city lights look like the reflection of the stars.

Mount Agad-Agad is very accessible and is good for mountain climbers and overnight campings. A small waterfall is featured on the way to the top of the mountain.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mountaineering-adventures.blogspot.com/2007/07/mt-agad-agad.html' title='Mt. Dumaguete also is famous about there beaches and their mountains and it is where you will see that there are a lot of mountaineering clubs, climbers, and mountaineers spend their time in Mt. Talinis or Mt. Canlaon. According to historian Caridad Aldecoa-Rodriguez, the first recorded sighting of this part of the Philippines was by members of Miguel Lopez de Legaspi’s expedition in 1565. He had sent a frigate to check out the islands that could be seen from Bohol and they came back with stories of this lush island with dark-skinned people, hence the name "Negros".

Mt Talinis is famous because of its nice view so breathtaking, the twin lakes that you will find namely Lake Nailig and Lake Yagumyum. There are many trees you can find when you reach the forest line, and when you reach the sulfur vent the smell of sulfur so strong but you will see a nice view from the top when you reach the summit of Mt. Talinis. Many climbers from different mountaineering club had able to climb mt. Most of the world's major rivers are fed from mountain sources, and more than half of humanity depends on mountains for water.

Caving

is the recreational sport of exploring caves. Speleology is the scientific study of caves and the cave environment.
The challenges of the sport depend on the cave being visited, but often include the negotiation of pitches, squeezes, and water. Climbing or crawling is often necessary, and ropes are used extensively.

Caving is often undertaken for the enjoyment of the activity or for physical exercise, but original exploration, or physical or biological science is an important goal for many cavers. Virgin cave systems comprise some of the last unexplored regions on Earth and much effort is put into trying to locate and enter them. In well-explored regions (such as most first-world countries), the most accessible caves have already been explored, and gaining access to new caves often requires digging or diving.
