Mount Everest Videos Expeditions

Mount Everest is the top 1 tallest mountain in the world 29,028 height in feet. Nepal it is where Mount Everest located, many tourist in Nepal are all climbers every year of its season many climbers go there to climb Mount Everest.

Radhanath Sikdar, an Indian mathematician and surveyor from Bengal, was the first to identify Everest as the world's highest peak in 1852, using trigonometric calculations based on measurements of "Peak XV" (as it was then known) made with theodolites from 240 km (150 miles) away in India. Measurement could not be made from closer due to a lack of access to Nepal. Peak XV was found to be exactly 29,000 feet (8,839 m) high, but was publicly declared to be 29,002 feet (8,840 m). The arbitrary addition of 2 feet (0.6 m) was to avoid the impression that an exact height of 29,000 feet was nothing more than a rounded estimate.

Here are some videos I want to share with you how hard it is to climb Mount Everest, and let you see how beautiful Mount Everest is..

Month Of The Mountain The Hills Are Alive Mt. Canlaon

Mountaineering, mountain climbing, news in mountain climbing, videos in mountain climbing, mountain, mountains, climbers, mountaineers, caving, river rafting, wall climbing, kayaking
In a celebrated Broadway play turned movie, Julie Andrew sings one of the most familiar songs in Hollywood; “The hills are alive to the sound of music.” Now, unless you consider all sound to be music, like minimalist composer, John Cage, music is not exactly what our hills are alive to.

Mountaineering, mountain climbing, news in mountain climbing, videos in mountain climbing, mountain, mountains, climbers, mountaineers, caving, river rafting, wall climbing, kayaking
Here, it is the sound of slash and burn agriculture, it is the sound of uncontrolled up-migration and consequently the noise of the motor-cycles, the most available mode of transport there, it is the sound of the construction of expensive neighborhoods and the sound pf everything else but, hardly, music.

But, in 2007 with the celebration of the International year of the Mountain, IYM and the designation of June as the month of the mountain, the international community said that music should, again, belong to the mountains; of watershed protection, of making the mountains contribute more than simple extractive minerals and goods.

Local mountaineering groups are gearing up for appropriate celebrations. Habagat for one has scheduled a Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC) for beginner mountaineers or those who just want to update their mountaineering skills.

When you say exploring volcano is a great mountaineering adventure I would agree to that. My experience in Mt. Canlaon is so great it’s a memorable experience. There is a place in Philippines that are surrounded by active and non active volcanoes and that place is in Camiguin Island (The Island of Fire). Camiguin is famous on its beaches, spring, mountains and especially volcanos.

mt timoong2 - mountaineering, mountain climbing, news in mountain climbing, mountain, mountains, climbers, mountaineers, caving, river rafting, wall climbing, kayaking

Camiguin Island is also called ( The Island of Fire) because there are a lot of volcanos exist. There are also quite a number of smaller volcanic domes and parasitic cones such as Mt. Carling, Mt. Tibane and Piyakong Hill at the flanks of Mt. Hibok-Hibok, Campana Hill, Minokol Hill and the Tres Marias Hill at the flanks of Mt. Mambajao. Mt. Hibok-Hibok is an active volcano. Other volcanoes remain in active due to the agents of weathering and erosion and the formation of deep and long gullies on its slopes.

mt timoong3 - mountaineering, mountain climbing, news in mountain climbing, mountain, mountains, climbers, mountaineers, caving, river rafting, wall climbing, kayaking

The highest peak in the island is Mt. Timpoong which rises 1,580 meters/5,184 feet ASL. Mt. Mambajao stands 1,420 meters/4,659 feet and Mt. Hibok-Hibok rises 1,240 meters/4,068 feet ASL. Not only is Mt. Mambajao the tallest, it is also the biggest volcano in the island. Because of the island's volcanic form, several hot sulfur springs and geothermal vents exists.

Mt. Naduyan Measures 2560m ASL, also the South side towering range with its suicidal cliffs and mystery you can’t be so careless on your trek. Regard to be the one of toughest mountain range in Kitanglad Natural Park according to Higaonon Tribes, KGV-Libona and White Flag Bolo Battalion Warriors. They are the locals who are guarding the mountains so it will be manipulated by uneducated people with no respect to the nature.

mt naduyan3 -mountaineering, mountain climbing, news in mountain climbing, videos in mountain climbing, mountain, mountains, climbers, mountaineers, caving, river rafting, wall climbing, kayaking

The Higaonon tribes believed that Mt. Naduyan is also Nabis ha Agbibilin's brother to Mt. Nanluyaw and also the sacred ground of Higaonon tribes in South side of the MKRNP.

There are a few who conquered the peaks of Mt Naduyan so if you plan to trek the mountain, just be ready of what to come in your expedition.

January to March is where many mountaineers from different mountaineering clubs go to Mount Agad-Agad because it is the time that the weather is great and you will see the beautiful scenery that the mountain can offer. During the night you will see countless star and shooting stars at the top so relaxing with the cool breeze of wind that surrounds your body. With or without mountaineering experience can climb to Mount Agad-Agad, after few hours of sweat you can reach the top easily if you have the attitude of a mountaineer that so cold "never give up" and just do it!".

The first half of the trek is nothing but a walk on rolling terrain. The fun begins on the second half, when the knees meet the chin, as those "who've been there" would say. At the peak, the panoramic overlooking view of Iligan City and Mt. Malindang in Misamis Occidental right across Iligan Bay is a spectacle. But wait till evening when the city lights look like the reflection of the stars.

Mount Agad-Agad is very accessible and is good for mountain climbers and overnight campings. A small waterfall is featured on the way to the top of the mountain.
